DESCRIPTION: After a challenging winter semester of isolation drills, its time to put our skills to use. Warning: This class might be tough. I'd like to say it will be easy, but that wouldn't be the truth. I seem to be unable to make easy choreographies, even for beginners (sad, but true). Good drum solos require excellent body isolation and an ability to match movement to the drum's timing with absolute precision. If you can handle a fun challenge, and you're willing to practice outside of class, this will be a good class for you. If you frustrate easily, and you don't or won't practice, this won't be a good choice for you. Your decision, but if you're wondering, ask me. Each class will begin with core strengthening exercises. This class is only open to people who took winter classes with me (or who are willing to pay for at least two private lessons SOON to get up to speed again).
PLEASE NOTE: All classes above beginner level require instructor permission (by email) even if you have registered in advanced classes in the past.
